GAO calls on CMS to continue prior authorization experiments

CMS rejects Ohio's individual mandate waiver

The CMS has denied Ohio's request to become the first state to waive the individual mandate for health insurance coverage. Federal officials said the request did not meet guidelines to ensure that no one would lose benefits.
