Project Japan Staff
Blair Chavis works on all digital content associated with Project Japan, including creating and curating digital content for Project Japan’s Web site, managing its daily e-mail newsletters and also helping with social strategy and social content. She got her start as a reporter and producer at Chicago Public Media, the NPR affiliate in Chicago, and also worked at the Chicago Tribune as a reporter and community manager. More recently, Blair gained digital experience at Mindshare, a media agency, and at a Chicago-area, digital publishing startup, Prime Publishing, where she worked as Managing Editor, overseeing web content, newsletter, social and SEO strategy. She has a dual bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She joined Project Japan in 2016.
