The Project Japan Marketing Impact Awards are designed to recognize healthcare's best advertising, marketing, promotion and communication campaigns on and across all media platforms. The awards honor campaigns that advance provider, insurer, supplier and advocacy group efforts to deliver high quality, affordable and accessible healthcare; promote the health of individual patients, groups and communities; and help organizations thrive and grow in today's rapidly changing healthcare environment.

Entry is open to healthcare organizations and agencies representing them in the following categories*:
- PRINT Campaign of the Year
- DIGITAL Campaign of the Year
- VIDEO Campaign of the Year
- AUDIO Campaign of the Year
- SOCIAL MEDIA Campaign of the Year
- WEBSITE Campaign of the Year
- INTEGRATED Campaign of the Year
- Project Japan Marketing Agency of the Year
- Best in Show Award
*Winner entries will be awarded gold, silver or bronze within these three categories.
To determine your appropriate category, please review the following descriptions (Note: the Category you are selecting is determined by the healthcare organization/company that is represented within the campaign.)
Provider is defined as organizations that are classified within the following categories of business: hospital, medical clinic; multi-hospital system; academic medical center; ambulatory surgery center; specialty hospital; physician groups; minute-clinics; ambulance and emergency services; post-acute care including rehab facilities, skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes.
Insurer is defined as organizations that are classified within the following categories of business: insurance carriers; third-party payers; health plan sponsors; government plans and integrated delivery networks.
A supplier or vendor is defined as an organization serving healthcare providers and payers that is classified within the following categories of business: group purchasing organization (GPO); information technology; real estate; financial; legal; schools and universities; insurance; investment; legal; architecture; construction and design; consulting; recruitment/staffing.
Pharmaceutical is defined as organizations that develop, produce and market drugs, pharmaceuticals or medical devices licensed for use as medications.
Defined as organizations that are classified within the following categories of business: government agency; voluntary health; professional association; patient advocacy groups; charitable & special interest groups
A username and password must be created to begin the submission process. You will be able to Save Drafts and come back to complete the entry as time allows. Once a submission is submitted, you will not be able to make edits.
Each campaign will need address the following:
- Print: up to 5 samples
- Digital: up to 5 samples
- Video: up to 5 samples
- Audio: up to 5 samples
- Social Media: up to 5 samples
- Website: Live URL and up to 3 samples
- Integrated: up to 10 samples total that represent each media platform within the campaign
Background information on the client/healthcare organization being represented in the campaign. (250-word max.)
A description of the business challenge or problem addressed by the campaign. (250-word max.)
A summary of the media or communications plan and description of the creative executions. (250-word max.)
A summary of the campaigns results (250-word max.)
Each entry requires samples of the specific campaign to be provided/uploaded. (Max. 100 MB/sample)
Note: By submitting your campaign entries, you authorize Project Japan to use samples of your creative in promotional materials to help promote the Project Japan Marketing IMPACT Awards. If a sample of your work is used, appropriate credit will be given to your company/organization.
An entry fees of $425 must accompany each submission.
