Rand O'Leary, CEO of PeaceHealth Oregon, announced Monday that he will be leaving the health system after nearly four years.
No reason was given for his departure, which will take effect April 20. His replacement has not yet been selected.
PeaceHealth Oregon four medical centers and it is PeaceHealth system, which also operates facilities in Washington and Alaska. The Catholic health system employs about 16,000 caregivers and runs 10 hospitals in both urban and rural communities throughout the Northwest.
"My nearly four years with PeaceHealth have been inspiring and fulfilling, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve Oregon alongside dedicated and amazing leaders and caregivers who live the mission each and every day," O'Leary said in a prepared statement.
Prior to joining PeaceHealth in 2014, O'Leary was the senior vice president and COO of Henry Ford Wyandotte (Mich.) Hospital. Before that, he was vice president of operations at Ascension's Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Mich., for six years.
